Colt M4/A1 |

Price: $3100 |
| The colt
M4/A1, which is only available to the counter-terrorists, is a formidable
weapon. Weighing only 3.34kg with a 30 round clip and an optional silencer,
the colt is light and silent. This allows for quick, quiet take
downs and less reload time.
The colt is full automatic and has a fast rate of fire which makes it relatively easy to use. However if you want to to stay alive you must resist the urge to hold the trigger down and let the bullets fly. Doing this will not only empty you magazine in less than two seconds, but it will also make it almost impossible to hit anyone farther away then a few feet. This is because as you begin to fire in full automatic the gun begins to shake. After a few round it is impossible to hold the gun on target and the bullets scatter. The way to combat this is to fire in quick, short bursts. This allows to keep up a quick rate of fire and keep the gun on target. Look at the following example. | Foot steps can be heard coming down
the ally. Notice that the crosshair are kept at the chest height of
who ever is around the corner. This is so that Only small corrections
will have to be made to bring the crosshairs on target.
|
Side stepping out into the ally. You could have stayed were you were but then you would have less chance of surprising them. Remember, because of the advantage of surprise the person who attacks first wins 90% of the time. Notice how the crosshairs have become larger then in the first pic. | After taking down the fist guy,
quickly switch to the other guy. Notice how the crosshairs are small
again. That is because between switching from bad guy 1 to bad guy 2
you stopped shooting. That allow the gun to be stabilized and
re-aimed. |
Firing in short bursts you are able to
quickly deal with bad guy 2.
