What is Counter-Strike?  Counter-Strike or CS is a unique, fast paced, first-person action game that pits  gangs of terrorists against  teams of counter-terrorists.       

     The reason CS is unique is that it is fully dedicated to multi-player gaming.  This means that that your enemy is controlled by a real person who joins the game through an internet connection.

       As you can imagine, this makes the actions of your teammates and enemies very realistic.  However the behavior of the characters is not the only realistic thing in CS.  Unlike other action games all the human models, weapons, vehicles and surroundings are as realistic as possible.  To take a look at the player models visit the Player Model page. 

       The terrorist and counter-terrorist teams have a variety of different  models that you can chose to be.  There are a variety of different objectives each team has to accomplish to win.  The objectives depend on which game is being played and can be anything from assassinating a president to rescuing hostages.
